“We exist to ignite and inspire a passion for Jesus Christ.” This is the mission and heart cry of Emmanuel. Because of this singular focus, we continue to see God draw people…men, women, kids, students…to Himself, in a radical, impassioned, and revolutionary life through following Christ. As we have grown, we have shifted strategies, programs, and structures so that we can use every square inch of our current space.

We are calling our need to create space ‘The Journey Home.’ We believe that God will use Emmanuel to guide others to the ‘journey’ of a relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that Emmanuel will be a ‘home’ for those who have embraced Christ and that here, they will discover an incredible family, living in relationship with each other, in Him. Lastly, Emmanuel is merely a stopping off place on the journey to our ultimate home…eternity with Him.

In 2007, ‘The Journey Home’ began as an effort to pay off the mortgage on the ‘Field House,’ our building for elementary students. With God’s blessing, within seven months, that building was paid off (to the tune of $450K!). Plans were developed and soon the next phase would begin. In June of 2009, the next step of the Journey was completed as we moved into a new building, creating a new environment for our Preschoolers called ‘Discovery Park.’ This space has ministered to so many precious children and families already and ensures that Emmanuel will always be a place that values and ministers to the entire family.
